ANKARA: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has called the recent terror attacks in the country detrimental to the ongoing peace talks.
The prime minister spoke with press en route to Pakistan and described the attacks as ‘shocking’ calling for them to be stopped immediately. The prime minister said that he wanted an end to the killing of innocent Pakistanis and formed the committee sincerely.
Prime Minister Sharif added he would be briefed on the prevailing situation after he landed in Pakistan.
According to the prime minister, there was complete harmony between Pakistan’s government and military over the peace talks.
When asked about Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan who in a recent interview said the prime minister had informed him of a 40 per cent success rate of a military operation, Mr. Sharif replied that this was just an opinion and onions change.
